About the Team

The EMEA People Business Partner team is a dynamic group tasked with enabling organizational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within Nutanix. The team's mission is to align talent management strategies with EMEA and global objectives, ensuring compliance with regional labor laws while supporting leadership in retaining high-potential employees. The culture emphasizes a growth mindset, collaboration, and strong partnerships, creating a supportive environment where team members actively assist one another in their roles.

You will report to the Director, EMEA People Business Partners, who practices an inclusive leadership style centered on collaboration, continuous learning, and development. The work setup for this role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the Barcelona office for a minimum of three days per week to effectively engage with leadership and country managers.

This role includes travel requirements across Southern European countries, including occasional trips to Italy, Spain, Switzerland and other offices in our SEUR region. While travel is not expected to be extensive, there may be periodic needs for engagement that require visiting various EMEA locations to strengthen relationships and support talent management initiatives.


Your Role

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with country managers and leadership teams across Southern Europe.
  • Align talent management strategies with EMEA and global objectives, ensuring compliance with regional labor laws.
  • Implement and oversee performance management processes and retention strategies for high-potential employees.
  • Analyze organizational health data to assess workforce placement and performance levels.
  • Lead key projects related to people management and support the execution of people programs.
  • Influence leadership to establish and prioritize a strong talent management agenda within the region.
  • Build a robust understanding of local talent needs and challenges while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the global people business partner community.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant role (People Business Partner or HR Business Partner).
  • Consultative people business partner skills, particularly for leadership coaching.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Workday and Tableau.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and influencing skills.
  • Project management abilities to oversee key people management initiatives.
  • Experience with Southern European labor laws, especially in Spain and Italy.
  • Strong commitment to collaboration and a growth mindset.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
